Midi Automation
Midi automation gives you 2 ways of sending and receiving real-time features such as crossfading vibrato or crossfading dynamics:
1) On-The-Fly and
2) "Drawing" the data into a track.
However, to do "on the fly" control while you are recording the notes, you'll need an external midi keyboard or device that you can assign various different midi cc numbers to output.
1. On-The-Fly
Using your external Midi keyboard While Recording. Note: You won't be able to use the mouse to record in the automation data. This only works w/ host automation.
Using your external Midi keyboard After Recording. Note: You won't be able to use the mouse to record in the automation data. This only works w/ host automation.
2. "Drawing" the data into a track
Simply assign the track to display the midi cc you want (the knob's midi cc assignment shown in Kontakt's Midi Automation pane), and draw in the data.
