What is the difference between the full version and the free version?
- The free version will time out if Kontakt has been running for more than 30 minutes. It will also time out after you have played more than 500 notes using the trial patch. If Kontakt has been running for more than 30 minutes, you will need to relaunch Kontakt to resume the trial. However, if Kontakt has not been running for more than 30 minutes, but you have played over 500 notes with the trial patch, then you only need to relauch the patch to resume the trial.
- The free version has truncated samples without loops or with very irregular loop points. (We did not want to give away the perfect samples, after all.) All of the sustain samples in the full version are nicely looped, even the solo samples.
- The free version contains only the 1st violins with a range of only C5-G5.
